CRYPTOCards New BlackBerry token is turning heads
Gord Graham comments on the release of CRYPTOCard V6.4

"The New CRYPTOCard server software is very flexible" said Gord Graham Director of Global Marketing for CRYPTOCard. It has the ability to protect VPN's from CISCO, Nortel or a variety of other SSL, or VPN company devices. Customers like the convenience of installing the server on Windows, Linux, or Mac, without having to do a lot of changes to the infrastructure.
"We are continuously developing our product to be faster, smaller, and more flexible" Gord continues. The new BlackBerry software token can be installed on a BlackBerry (or a variety of PDA's) so that when activated it generates a one time password. You can log on to your VPN/computer securely without carrying an extra authentication token, providing more utilization for a device you already have.
"When you're on the road and not connected to the internet how do you talk to our server? Well, we've created a mode where we can do something we call -disconnected authentication. Even when the laptop is disconnected from the network you can use our technology to protect it and require that one time password generated by the token to log-on to your laptop. You can still have the protection there, but you don't need the immediate access to the server."
CRYPTOCard has proved once again that flexibility wins every time.
